I wanted to create a math and art activity along the theme of penguins. Chalk Talk, had a great post of compiled penguin ideas. In her file, I saw a photo of a penguin eating different colored fish. Along with it was an addition sentence. Since we were working on fact families, I decided to take that idea and spin it into my own fact family penguins. I also included an easy version, which works well for Kindergarten. You can click here to check out April of Chalk Talk's original post and you can click the pictures below to download the file for free from TpT.
The kids had a great time making it and it took them a long time to rip up all the blue paper!

This is so cute! I'm going to link to it on my blog!
