Pirate Math Centers!

Last week, we studied -ar words.  I utilized Babbling Abby's wonderful unit Learning /ar/ with Pirate Mark.  Such an awesome unit!  The kids loved the pirate theme so much that I decided to create some pirate themed math centers.  I tried four of them out on Friday and the kids had a blast!

This weekend, I polished up this 49 page, Common Core aligned,  six center packet and it is now for sale on TpT (click {here}) to check it out.

(The coins are Mardi Gras Coins from Dollar Tree!)

This 49 page download is for six different Common Core based, pirate themed, math centers.

Math centers included in this packet:
Skulls and Treasure Chests Ways to Make Five
Skulls and Treasure Chests Sums of Ten
Pirate Make Ten to Add
Pirate Domino Fact Families
Pirate Find the Missing Part
Pirate Art and Math Center - Fact Family Based

Also, included are teacher directions, student directions, photographs, small center signs, work-mats, and printable manipulatives.  The Common Core Standards addressed are listed below the teacher and student directions.

I hope your students enjoy these centers as much as mine did!
