Back to School Plans for the First Week of First Grade

17 August 2014
I don't start school until September 2nd, but I thought I would share with you what I normally do the first two weeks of school!
I start the year by celebrating the students with an All About Me unit.  I take tons of pictures of my students.  We use these photos for their student scrapbooks and for center rotation cards.
For details on the frame, see this post.

Here are my plans from last year's first and second week of school.  Feel free to pin!   Click on the pictures to download.

If you like my plan book, you can grab it here!

The first week of school, I focused on rules and routines and all about me.  I utilized my Back to School Writing Prompts and Activities Packet and my It's All About Me packet.

I am also linking these up with Deedee's visual plans!  Click below to hop over.

 Second Week of School Plans

My coworker made some cute apple themed centers, so I  followed her lead and did a little apple theme for the week.  Luckily for me my friends have amazing apple units out! I utilized the following units and I bought some great apple clip art by Krista Walden.

Packets utilized this week:

Since, I am not back to school yet, I am busy updating products,  creating new ones, and setting up my classroom.

I recently updated this Back to School Organizational resource.  I use it every year and it really helps with my sanity and keeps me organized.  It is selling at a reduced price right now :)

Now here is a little thing I always forget to check: my purchases page.  Did you know that you can easily search by updates?!  Lots of my purchases had been updated.   If you already purchased my Back to School Organizational Forms and More Packet and want to redownload, just click the tab like I did below. Very Cool!!!

I wish you the best of luck going back to school.   I am really look forward to this school year.
