TpT takes NYC and Tsu?

04 November 2014
Last weekend, I met up with some fabulous authors in NYC.  I live on Long Island so it was just a 55 minute train ride in.    We say "on" Long Island and not "in" because it is an island.

Anyway, we started our day with a brunch at the Brain Pop offices.  I am a huge Brain Pop Jr. fan, so this was a thrill!  Angela Watson works for Brain Pop and organized it.
Here are some of the fabulous people I met or got to meet up with again (in no particular order):

James and I share a love for the Walking Dead and this was actually the second time we have met.  He has his eye on my #1 NY TpT seller spot, but I am not about to give that up :)

I met Angela in Vegas and another time in NYC.  She is a busy lady.  I will be presenting at SDE with her in the Spring!

I have met Tamara a few times!  She is so energetic.  She gave me this exuberant welcome in Vegas and we have been friends ever since!

Anna and I have been friends for a few years, because we both teach in NY.  She is in West Chester which is north of the city.  I love her Tab-Its and Flip Flap books.  She has very original ideas.

We had to make her do her profile picture pose, so that we recognized her.  Too funny!

Jennifer Drake -  We really did not get to talk to each other much, I think she spent the day seeing a fabulous Broadway play.  Hopefully, next time.

Brenda Tejeda -
Brenda is also from Long Island!   There are not many Long Island teacher bloggers, so I was very excited to meet her.

Ashley Benoit -
I have known Ashely for years through blogging and she is just so nice.  She says that I inspired her current fitness journey with this post!  You never know how your posts will change someone's life.  I would love to do a lifestyle blog about fashion, fitness, furnishings, and fur friends.

Viki Santos -
I had met Viki over the summer and she is also a Long Island blogger!  We talk about our beaches and boating.

Amy Lynch -
Ah, I did not get to chat with Amy much either.  As you can see we had a large crowd.  Hopefully, next time.  I cannot believe she came all the way from Wisconsin.  I LOVE her store logo!

Amanda Richardson -
Amanda brought her whole family with her!  Check out the hashtag #TpTTakesNYC for adorable pictures of her son.

Susan Cahalane -
We had a funny chat about how our students are so truthful about our looks.   Like how mine notice right away if I forget eye-makeup.

Maria Currais -
Maria is just so sweet!  We met over the summer at our Tri-State Blogger meet up.  She is a NJ teacher.

Melissa Machan -
Melissa is from what us Long Islander's call "upstate NY."  She probably does not call it that, but anything above and west of West Chester is considered upstate to us!  We talked about where I went to undergrad, Binghamton University.

Leigh Langton -
I have known Leigh from her fb fan page and Instagram for a while now.  It was so nice to finally meet this sweet Florida teacher.

Christina Schneider -
Christina is relatively new to blogging and TpT and was there soaking up advice.  She is so sweet and I had also met her before at our Tri-State Blogger Meet Up.

Tammy Manor -
Tammy is also a fellow NYer!  I am working on getting her to adopt a kitten from my rescue group.  Fingers crossed!  She also just started blogging.   I really think blogging helps with promoting your TpT store.

Cristin -
Cristin is also new to TpT and blogging!  I hope this meet up gave her some pointers.

CaseyJane Cooper -
Casey also traveled from Wisconsin to meet up and she saw Cara Carroll and I present in Vegas for the TpT conference.  How cool is that?

Kristen Smith -
It was so nice to finally meet Kristen also.  She asked all about my fostering of kittens.  She told us that she has this ridiculously long walk to the playground for recess in Boston!  Poor her and poor kids!

Reagan Tunsell -
Reagan and I have "known" each other for years but never met.  I was so excited to finally meet my fabulous Blog Hoppin' friend.

This is a photo of us all learning the new features of Brain Pop.  Really cool stuff!

Central Park

Central Park

There were rats all over the park!  They were popping out of holes under rocks like groundhogs.  Not going to lie, my first instinct was to feed it my granola bar!   I didn't.

Rockefeller Center

I took this photo at Serendipity... true and funny.

Radio City

I hope you enjoyed these photos.  Despite living close to NYC, I don't go in often.  I had a great time.

On to Tsu...

I really am not sure what Tsu is but as you can see, I hopped on that bandwagon!  Check it about by clicking my image below.   So far I have made a whopping 3 CENTS.  I know you are jealous :)

For those of you who are like me and are not so sure about it.  I pinned some posts for later reading.  As I searched for info about Tsu, I found a lot of pins about ShihTzus!
