Spring Ideas for First Grade

03 April 2017

I found this adorable bunny in glasses pop art project through Pinterest.
When you follow the pin to the website, you will see it is in French.   I was still able to find the bunny template by clicking the pink writing that says "tete lapin a imprimer."  You will need to go to the actual website to download the image.   Click my screen shot below.

To make the eyeglasses, I just googled eyeglass outlines and printed them on bright colored paper.
I completed my display with the writing prompt freebie below!

Here is a close up image:

I hope you enjoy the freebie.  Here are a few other spring themed resources for you to check out.

  1. Thank you SO much for this! We have a very long afternoon today and this adorable craft and writing is going to make it so much more fun! :)

  2. Love this!! Thank you so much!!!

  3. Google translated the French page enough for me to see that there was an original blog that this pattern came from. On that blog, the teacher put her students into groups and gave them each one piece of the bunny's head. They then assembled them like a puzzle to make one rabbit. There is also a template for the glasses on both of those blogs (same template). So interesting to see how the original blogger did hers. She actually created the rabbit template from a print she saw on pinterest.

    1. Very interesting! Thanks for posting.

  4. Thanks for this post because I am even more fascinated by the inspiration and how you transformed it into an art & craft activity and a creative writing response activity! 2-fers are great in any subject(s) and age-levels!!!
